Navigate Life’s Challenges with Clarity, Courage, and Self-Compassion

Therapeutic coaching integrates Somatic Experiencing, the Enneagram, Internal Family Systems, and transformative practices to address the somatic, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual aspects of our being, to support holistic healing and growth.

Are you in the midst of a life transition or feeling like your old ways of coping are no longer working?

At some point in our lives we each experience challenges such as difficult relationships, loss of a job or identity, death of a loved one, illness, or a worldview that no longer makes sense.

During these times we might feel disoriented, that we've entered uncharted territory, lost our way without a compass or map—and where a major source of suffering is unmet fear in the body.

I believe that navigating our challenges can be highly transformative when we work directly with our fears, habitual patterns, and protective responses with self-compassion, skills and courage.

These challenges hold the greatest potential for growth and transformation as we enter the liminal space of moving beyond who we used to be, and toward who we can become.

Psychology

Psychologically, the Enneagram identifies our recurring patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior. We often recognize the need for change when those patterns leave us feeling stuck. By learning to notice our automatic reactions and practicing ways to expand beyond these habits, we gain greater flexibility, freedom, and choice. Learn more here.

Somatics

When we feel emotions like anxiety, fear, sadness, or anger, our bodies react automatically—by wanting to fight, run away, shut down, or go numb. Over time, these protective reactions can leave us feeling tense, stuck, or cut off from our natural energy. Polyvagal practices help calm reactivity in the moment. We can also create deeper and lasting transformation by engaging directly with these thwarted protective responses to create new neural pathways, greater resilience, and a more connected way of living. Spirituality

Spirituality, in my work, is about increasing our capacity to be present to life as it is, to others as they are, and to be receptive to that which is greater than ourselves.
Rather than a belief system, it’s a felt experience that can emerge when nervous system patterns soften and the protective parts of us feel safe enough to let go. From this place, clarity, compassion, and connection become more available. I support clients in cultivating this openness through grounded, integrative practices that honor both the body’s intelligence and the soul’s deeper longing. Learn more here.

What Clients Say…

  • "Kerry's approach has been very, very effective in helping me deal with my struggles and fears in regard to chemotherapy, cancer, loss, and grief. I really feel that she has 'saved my life' in the sense of helping me become a more integrated and peaceful person. Because of Kerry's coaching, I've been able to use having cancer as a springboard to resilience and inner growth."

    — Maryann W., M.D.

  • "As a therapist myself I was a little hesitant about seeing a Coach since I wasn't sure she'd be the right fit for me. Kerry's methods and skills in Somatic Experiencing go far beyond cognitive talk therapy. I was able to get to the root of my fear and anxiety and learn the skills to resolve it. I refer clients to Kerry's practice as I trust her calm demeanor and collaborative approach."

    — David B., LCSW

  • "The reason I went to Kerry is because I felt angry all the time and my partner made it clear I needed to do something about it. In her nonjudgmental way, Kerry helped me understand my anger as a protective function of my nervous system. Underneath it we uncovered some hurt and pain I didn't want to feel. I knew I needed to work through it slowly and I'm glad I had Kerry as my guide."
